Kannada actor Upendra has joined the cast of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Upendra expresses his joy over the collaboration by recalling his admiration for Rajinikanth since they first met 25 years ago during the making of Upendra. Upendra considers Rajinikanth as a mentor figure in his life and is grateful for the opportunity to work with him on screen. He mentions that he has always looked up to Rajinikanth professionally and spiritually and has learned a great deal from him over the years. Upendra shares that he is excited about his role in Coolie, which he will cherish for a lifetime, and he is looking forward to beginning shooting after successfully completing the look test.
